You have the choice to become a Terrorist or a Counter-Terrorist. Your choice determines who you are, a "Good" guy or a "Bad" guy. Your choice also has an affect on how you interact with other people in the world of RoT. But everyone is free to role-play, and you're welcome to be a Counter-Terrorist making backdoor deals with Terrorists.

Your goal is to become the best by building up your network of friends, and destroying the rest of the world of the opposing faction.

Rise of Terror has a community that has stuck by through everything. They've been there for a while and are willing to help people who wish to learn and be a part of the community.

Game Universe

Rise of Terror is a world not far from our own. Following a pattern of the 'War on Terror' the world fell into eventual chaos, where everyone was left choosing a side. You're either with them, or against them they said.

Game Goals

Everyone has lofty goals for their games, obviously. We're looking to build slow, steady, and strong. We don't want 100,000 people bombarding the site within days, screwing things up for everyone else, but we do want loyal, active, intelligent players. If you're one of them, give us a chance. We're always willing to listen to suggestions to make the game more interesting for you.

Development

Rise of Terror has been a hobby of mine for years. Before majoring in Computer Science, I was more sinking then swimming. After a few years and some hard work, I have just finished a full recode and redesign of the site. We already have a pretty active, strong, and faithful community of a minimum of 100 daily players, but we'd really love more. The more players the better the game interaction becomes.

I have been playing Muds since I was 14 and on a computer since I was 8. My life revolves around computers.

    At first glance this could seem like any other text based RPG, however after a few moments you see its not like many others at all, with a sleek design which is calm on the eyes and a easy navigation it is easy to get up and running, also when looking at the Hall of Fame, you see that the highest level isnt in the 100's or above 50,its actually around 7 or 8 currently, which gives a lot of new comers hope of reaching the hall of Fame, which is what most players will want to do. Even now updates are still going on and joining now or very soon will be a very wise choice when a ton of new weaps, upgrades and bomb stuff is installed, due to this there will be a variety of things to do other than missions and training, but if in a gang, bomb making, and if im a correct drive by's... [br]so this is definately one to consider, with a huge load of players always in the forums and willing to give a hand its a sure place to be!
