At BreePets you can breed your own pets of different races based on real genetics. You have to feed and entertain them, thus you can train them to be ready for battling against other pets. To buy food and toys and other stuff, you can play many singleplayer and even multiplayer games.

At the beginning, you can buy fresh pets and mutate their DNA with the help of mutators. Afterwards, you breed them to get higher-valued pets. To be ready for battling, you can train your pets to make them stronger. If you aren't online, you can send your pets to work to earn BreePoints for you (the ingame currency) or send them to sleep.

The main goal is to unlock achievements like avatars and trophies through different game interactions. Furthermore, the more you play, the higher you will be in the global ranking. There are many features, which can be unlocked by progressing in the game.

We have a very kind community, which helps everybody to get into the game if someone needs help. We have a chat and a forum, thus you get answers very fast. We, the administrators, are also very active and keep our eye on the game to maintain a peaceful place for everyone.

Game Universe

BreePets has a fantasy world with fantasy locations. Pets are the inhabitants and the different locations are very manifold.

Game Goals

We want to enhance our community and like to see other players having fun with our site and games. We keep our eye on quality and want to steadily increase our feature set.

Development

The game is built by two persons, Grotesque and Metterschlingel. Metterschlingel played Neopets and wanted to start her own pet site to use her art skill reasonable. The site is based on real genetics, because Metterschlingel studied biology. Grotesque is the programmer of BreePets and likes creating games. In the games section, there are some really struggling games for masterminds.

Before developing BreePets, Metterschlingel and Grotesque already have several years of experience in their main skills (art & programming). They already invested both several hundreds of hours of free-time to build BreePets and are proud of the result :)

At the moment of writing this article, we have about >1300 players and dependent on the time, 5 to 20 people are online at the same time. We have many long-term and recurring players which are willing to help. With this article, we expect to get more nice players into our game and let the community grow.

Developer's story

We always liked to use our skills to create little games. Once Metterschlingel came up with the idea of a pet site we started to develop BreePets. Pet Sites are very complex and manifold systems. You can get your skill into the site in many different ways. Almost everything you can think of can be integrated (different games, items, features, ...). Furthermore, this will ensure that we stick to BreePets and enhance it further.
