Best of Breed is a wonderful non-automated sim game with a small, close-knit community of players. For those interested in animal genetics, there is a complicated and realistic genetics system as well. Best of Breed is something of a sandbox game in that you can play it to your preferences; that is, if what you want to do is just have agility champion dogs, you can focus entirely on that aspect of showing. Best of Breed emphasizes responsible breeding practices and is overall very true to life. Although for a new player this can be slightly overwhelming, Best of Breed is nonetheless worth a try.

BoB is not a SIM for the Lazy or weak! If your ready to have a fun and life like experience then BoB is the game for you! The owner is awesome and very responsive to feedback/suggestions and also very much a part of the community. Speaking of community it is wonderful! So many nice people, I have had 3 different people help me pay for a subscription! Game is very life like and very involved! Be ready to have fun yet be responsible at the same time! Awesome Game!

3. The Best Sim Ever - by filmscored Rating: 9.8/10
This sim is the best that is out there right now for those who are interested in a realistic canine, equine and feline sim experience. The community is helpful and mature. The game play is involved and educational, it mirrors real life as close as possible. There is even an option for role play, if you are so inclined. It is also one of the only games that I have found that is mostly genetics driven.

Why this is called a sim, I really wouldn't know. It's decent for people who prefer rpg-style (in otherwords, where nothing is automated like a real sim).
