ThreeChess.com is the FIRST online chess for three players. It is online game based on known chess rules but adapted for three players. We are developing the game in a way where it will be balanced to entertain every player and provide exciting gaming experience.

Game Universe

Unique hexagon shaped board designed for three players putting a new twist on a beloved classic. No new rules; still the same chess you know and love! ThreeChess includes board and 3 different colored chess pieces. Each player must concentrate not only on their own attack and defense, but also on preventing either of the two opponents from checkmating the other.

Game Goals

At the moment we have 250 Facebook Likes on the ThreeChess facebook page, 337 Registered Users, 34 Facebook players and more than 100 unique visits every day. The game is still in beta and it is not advertised. We believe that our site will become the most visited and famous one for three player chess ever.

Development

The project was started in April 2010 in order to participate in Junior Achievement's Bulgaria Best Graduate Company Competition 2010. We took the first place. After that we participated on JA-YE Europe Enterprise Challenge 2010 and won the Intel Innovation Award with ThreeChess. The site you are seeing now was started on July, 1st 2010. After that we won BG Site 2010 Startup 1st awards of the jury and the public.

Developer's story

I saw the game first in the Czech Republic in the late 2008 and in the University with team of two more colleagues we decided to develop it.
