Crystaria is a world based on many of the great MMORPG's around. You take on the role of your Alter Ego and try to maintain peace in the world by gaining Class Ranks and defeating the many beasts that plagues the land.
Class Ranks and Levels are the measure of your power and are gained through slaying monsters that inhabit the land. However, you may not wish to be contained to one class, so we have introduced a Class System which allows you to level up a different class at a whim, whilst still maintaining your previous class details.
The aim is to be the highest level in the game and unlock many of the games achievements as you can, this can be achieved through many of the games inbuilt systems, such as PvP, Besieged, Augmentation and an almost infinite possibility of Equipment and Ability combinations. The hunt system enables you to take on quests which will be randomly generated every hour to gain great rewards and besieged will test the games teamwork in defending the four mother crystals.
Crystaria will continue to provide updates to its system to enable new adventures to be taken based upon valuable feedback from the community as well as rebalancing parts which players feel are needed.

Game Universe
The game takes part in a world protected by the four mother crystals.
The world has gone through many cycles of life and death involved each of the mother crystals. For along time the people thought that the crystals would shine brightly for many years to come as each part of the cycle was brought about by one of these crystals. However, the beasts are now out to threaten the land and usher in the Age of Destruction.
Band together with each other in guilds, and control regions of the world to add unique bonuses, the only thing preventing end of the world from happening is you!
Game Goals
The goal for this game is simple, we want to be able to grow into a game where the community will grow to allow new ideas never thought of possible! We hope that by the time the game goes gold, we will have at least 1000 active players and much more with the help of everyone!
Development
I used to own a game back in 2006 which unfortunatly fell flat after my co-owner decided enough is enough. After realising this, I moved around trying to find some inspiration for a new Online game. After many years, "Project Crystalist" was born and development had begun early in 2010, after a while, we decided to move Crystalist onto Crystaria after an extensive re-look at all the systems. We felt that there was to many systems involved making the game difficult to balance and create new content in which everyone would have an even footing.
The software for the game is based off the Shattered Conflict engine, in which my new partner graciously allowed me to use, but has been customised in such a way that it has become a new game in its sole right, with many new features and functions added based upon the feedback we had received during the alpha stages of the game. On our message boards I have compiled a list of ideas and functions that will be added to the final version and have altered many based on the Community reaction. I feel that community interaction will help to build one of the best games around!
Crystaria is currently Pre-Beta. We have been adding new functions as the community grows. However the current community has become stagnant and we are seeking new members to help us advance the game to "the next level". I love all the concepts of Crystaria, and am looking for a community to love them also. We currently have around 10 registered users and I have been advertising the Beta of this game to help build it up, your continued contributions will help the game evolve!
Developer's story
Gaming is what I do during my free time, and I have always loved online games. I feel the interaction made between the community and the software has pushed me towards building Crystaria. Although Crystaria is not finished (or near completion), I love the interaction between Developers and Users who will ultimately help shape the game.
Being an admin to a game before I have learned from the mistakes of the past and have aimed to create a world where the community helps to create the best game! I love the way new friendships will be forged and I can't wait to share everything with you!
