The Chipped Dagger is a medieval fantasy game. It features open PvP with full loot. Players adventure in one seemless world -- there is no instancing. The monsters are randomly generated, and there are world events. There are approx. 1,000 randomly generated dungeons scattered around the lands at any point in time. TCD has a unique crafting system. Entirely new items can be found or invented! Player owned housing is another feature of the game.

Game Universe

TCD is a pretty typical medieval fantasy MMORPG. Players who are familiar with The Lord of the Rings and D&D will feel right at home here.

Game Goals

My goal is to make an engaging MMO that players enjoy. I hope that the game attracts enough players so I can work on it full time to give it the time and attention it deserves!

Development

I've been working on making an MMORPG since 2005. I've started over many times trying to find a game that felt right. I think i've finally come up with a good game! The game is just getted started, but already the community is growing and players are excited about the game.

Developer's story

I've been a life long game and programmer. I really enjoyed playing the "Gold box" TSR AD&D games on my C64. I bought a copy of Diablo on launch day in 1997. I was there for the launch of UO. I've had high hopes for newer MMOs, but they seemed to be to be devolving into ever more simplified games. I wanted a game that was deep with strategy and where your actions could have a lasting impact on the world. Having played many MMOs and because of my background as a professional developer I decided to make my own!
