Net Fighters is a 2D turn-based fighting browser game with an unique character and technique creation system.

You may create any number of characters with different races and teach fighting techniques to them. The technique creation system is very versatile so you can create something like a hadouken as well as something like a hurricane kick. There is even the possibility to create summoning techniques (and you create the summonable creatures too!).

Train, equip and teach your characters and challenge players in 2D arenas to be the best Net Fighter!

Game Universe

Net Fighters is a pure PVP fighting game where everyone fights everyone. You're a kind of master or commander and must assemble a strong team of fighters and become the best.

Game Goals

I want the game to have a stable player base. After having around 100 active players (say, at least 4 online anytime), I think it will grow more easily. I believe Net Fighters has potential to become a very popular game someday.

Development

One time while chatting in a IRC channel, some guy asked me how to make a simple Saint Seiya game script (he knew I had make a somewhat famous IRC script). I taught him the basics and had the idea for a more generic text fighting game. Then, AnimeLutas IRC game was born (it means "Anime Fights").

But I wanted more, so I started to work on a browser game based on AnimeLutas but yet more generic. I work on it only in my little spare time, so it's being developed for some years now.

Net Fighters has now reached a quite stable, playable and fun state, but since it's a PVP game, it needs more players to become really fun.

Developer's story

I was a very addicted game maniac in my childhood, and started trying to make games very soon. Now I have other passions too, like artificial intelligence, and I'm trying to conciliate (and even merge) them!
