Game Universe
Purgatory is the city that is neither heaven nor hell where souls of the dead are sent to live a second life in the face of sin while proving that their eternal soul should reside either in heaven or in hell. As the first battle of the Apocalypse rages in the city of Purgatory, both sides recruit for the battles to take place on earth. Some districts are clean, full of sunshine, and remind one of Heaven, while others are dirty, over run with demons, and are filled to the brim and overflow with sin.
Game Goals
Each person who has tried this game has been very pleased and had no negative feedback as of yet our goal is to continue this trend while growing to a player base of around 300,000 active players in the next 12 months.
Development
After playing many text based browser games, I found certain things lacking in them. I found them profoundly complex, or to basic and simple. I found myself saying, If I made a game I would do it this way. So I set myself to work learning to code, manage and develop a game and Battle For Purgatory was born.
While this game will be ever expanding, most of the game dynamic relies on the players and their choices. The Battle of Purgatory will be a direct reflection our own battles between greed and charity, chastity and lust, and so on. We are excited to have this project up and functioning in just a few weeks from conception and look forward to your ideas, input, and suggestions.

I wanted to build a game reflecting my interests. Mafia and Vampire games are way overdone now days, so I chose a much more time tested theme.
