Game Universe

Pandanda® Land was settled by Henry and his friends when they escaped from the infamous dragon Rayth, who in a fiery rampage burned their beautiful homeland forest. After traveling for months the exhausted band of pandas discovered a rich and prosperous land. With a pond abundant in fish and a plentiful forest in which to re-build their tree house village, Pandanda® Land was born. The community is now a bustling center of industry with Mr. McWiggles Big Scoop ice cream parlor, Fishy Joe's Bait and Tackle, and Fitch's Clothing Company and many other great sources of interest. Pandanda® Land is an inviting home attracting new residents daily. Though things are peaceful now, the memory of the dragons still linger and has weaved its way into Pandanda® lore. Ancient dragon treasure is still being dug up by Pandanda® residents, Trixie Trimble still makes bold forays into the land of the dragons to bring back exciting and funny potions, and even the Book Nook sports a giant dragon on which pandas love to climb. Panda's can also purchase dragon eggs from the pet store. Dragon's hatched from an egg become a panda's companion for life.

Development

Pandanda was built by 2 veterans of the game industry who love games and wanted to make one especially for kids. After more than a year of dedicated work Pandanda launched its beta. A year later Pandanda launched its live version to the public in October of 2009. We think Pandanda is one of the best MMO's for kids on the internet and we are excited to see it grow.

Developer's story

Veterans of the gaming industry combined with the desire to make a safe and fun virtual world for kids culminated in the creation of a world called Pandanda®. The characters of Pandanda® were inspired by the real-life Red Panda. Many of the qualities that make them so endearing and interesting have been creatively incorporated into the virtual world. Their beautiful white markings and ringed tails are reflected directly in the look of the characters while environmental attributes like the fact that Red Pandas sleep in trees, eat mushrooms and fish inspired the idea that Pandanda® Pandas live in tree houses, collect mushrooms and go fishing at the Fishing Hole.
