Game Universe

Syndicate-Wars isn\'t really set in any particular time, but I suppose you could say it\'s the present. As the game description states, you are a gangster starting at the bottom and working your way up, making and breaking bonds, bullying or protecting others, the choices are endless and entirely yours!

Game Goals

Twelve hours after launching the game, Syndicate-Wars had over 120 people and climbing. I would like to advertise my game in several areas to ensure a constant growth. The more people we get, the more fun it will be!

Development

After playing several similar games and watching almost all of them fall apart due to a poorly managed game-economy, I decided I should just make my own.

I didn\'t know any programming languages then, but I was determined, so I stayed at the computer for 16+ hours a day 6-7 days a week learning and building the site.

Nearly five months later, the game has finally left Beta Testing and is fully operational. I plan to take college-level programming courses very soon to allow myself to further develop the game.

Developer's story

For the past two years I have been playing online MMORPG's and have been simply addicted! One of my favorite games, however, banned me over a complete misunderstanding and refused to hear my side of the story. I was furious that someone could just throw away a player, especially one who donated as much as I had. I eventually calmed down and reminded myself that the game wouldn't last much longer anyway since the game-economy had gone completely out of control. It was then that I decided to make my own game. I would build it with all concerns in mind so as to prevent the game from deteriorating wherever I could. I also decided I would build it with all the suggestions the players had made over the years that simply fell on deaf ears with other games. Nearly five months later, I have launched Syndicate-Wars and plan to further my programming schools at college next month so I can continue to expand the features of the game. I truly do not care, I repeat, TRULY DO NOT CARE about the donations. As long as I get enough to support the game, I am happy. I want you all to come join us and have fun!
