Ghetto Status is an urban thug based game which allows you to take on the role as a small time criminal in America.

As a thug you complete crimes as your main source of income. Which then helps you to create gangs to help gain a competitive edge against enemies, deal in drugs to temporarily help boost your thugs abilities, collect special items and equip them to your thug to give you advantages in either speed, attack or defence. Compete against every other thug and migrate to enhanced sectors of the game.

The more experience you gain from completing crimes and attacking other thugs you will level up. Increasing your level means your abilities to train at the gym will also increase, making you a stronger thug. Thugs with the highest abilities will ultimately win, unless you train to become stronger.

We hope to have a great community within GhettoStatus with helpful and fun players with many competitions to earn rewards.

Just remember to train your stats to keep you on top of the game of life and prove that you are really an original gangster.

Game Universe

GhettoStatus is based in the main cities of America where crime and drugs are the main sources of income. Its a hard world where the Original Gangsters tend to be the ones who can thrive. Survival tips would be to join a gang, stay out of the penitentiary and avoid getting put into hospital!

Game Goals

I want the game to grow and become one of the top MMO RPG's on the internet. My aim is to get over 100,000 active players with a fun filled community!

Development

I have played many online text based games and found that some of them are not updated enough with new items or never really a theme which i enjoyed.

After teaming up with some programmers and passing on many ideas we came up with this game which has taken quite a while to build as it was completed from absolute scratch.

GhettoStatus is now launched and looking for players to come join the community, with staff already organised to help any new players, i hope you can enjoy the fun of GhettoStatus!

As i have played many games and moderated on many others i believed it would be fun to create my own game to try and create something in which i have loved doing in the past.
