FinalEscape is an exciting browser-based massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) that offers endless challenges, excitement and playability to gamers of all ages and experience levels.
Over 8 months in development, FinalEscape incorporates advanced coding and highly dynamic game systems to offer players limitless options for avatar development. Many of the features in FinalEscape won't be found in any other text or browser game online, and combine to provide a highly immersive, challenging and unique gaming experience.
Much of our team's development efforts have been focused on creating secure, robust and user-friendly interfaces, so players can focus on gameplay challenges and entertainment, rather than on interface issues or a steep learning curve.

Game Universe
FinalEscape places players in the role of a colonist just arrived on a new planet after a catastophic event renders Earth inhabitable. The new colony is a chaotic and dangerous place, but one full of opportunity and rewards for those hardy and ambitious enough to rise to the top.

Development
After playing several cookie-cutter and copycat text browser games, I felt that this genre could offer much more to players. Taking advantage of the lastest AJAX, JSON and Javascript development tools, the concept of FinalEscape was born.
Development began in February 2009, and a 6 month closed beta period followed, with about 30 very helpful testers. FinalEscape has undergone a massive amount of balancing, playtesting and finetuning during the closed beta. On Nov. 1, 2009, all player accounts were reset, and the game was opened to the public, and is currently in open beta phase.

I have been an avid gamer for over 15 years, and have always enjoyed games that offer many options and paths to success for a player who approaches things in a thoughtful and clever manner. FinalEscape has been painstakingly tuned to offer options for a wide range of browser game players, from the casual player who can only devote a couple hours per week, as well as the 'hardcore' gamer willing to spend 6+ hours a day engrossed in developing his or her avatar.
