MAFIA: The Russian Underground is a mafia based game in which you play as a small-time Russian mobster starting out your crime career in Moscow.

Travel throughout Russia and collect an arsenal of weapons, gamble your money, join or start your own gang and tackle the world of organised crime.

Many others mobsters will try and get in your way and take away what you've worked hard for, but it's your job to work your way through the hard life that is the Russian Underground.

Game Universe

MAFIA: TRU is set in modern Russia, filled with corruption, crime, and murder. You are able to travel about to neighbouring countries to do deals, organised crime, and migrate in general.

Game Goals

My aim is to grow the game to over 5,000 active players at first then 50,000 later down the track.

Development

After I learned PHP and played many other games of a similar genre I realised I could make my own game of a superior quality.

We have now launched and have a fast growing and active community.

Developer's story

While I was in high school I played a great deal of browser games to kill my during the lunch hour. I always wanted to be staff on these games, but due to their sizes I was never able to get into such a position.

Once I started on learning PHP I slowly built a game and went from there. Now I get to lead my own team of staff in my own extensively enjoyable game!
