Sabrous has an over arcing plotline to discover why the world was "rebooted" by the immortals. The plot is in constant development, new things added with each new area. Players level up and collect equipment to enable them to solve this mystery, and may roleplay along the way if they want. Players are extremely welcoming and helpful, so stop on by and become a Sabrousian!

Game Universe

Sabrous is a world where "reality" was reset by the gods. Remnants of the folly that caused this reset are scattered around, but most beings live in ignorance of them. Technology is regarded with suspicion and curiousity. Ghosts and spirits wander the forests and towns, but superstitious locals rarely see them for what they truly are.

Our only real goal is to gain new players who support the Sabrousian ideal of good will and fun times. If you're a roleplayer, that's even better!

Development

After playing SMAUG MUDs through all of highschool, I finally created my own. Having been online for more than 3 years, Sabrous is an ongoing project. While our playerbase is small, we are always on the lookout for new, friendly folk.

Developer's story

I'm an artist and writer first and foremost. Using SMAUG, which enables easy building, I was able to turn one of my stories into an interactive game. That was pretty dang neat.
