I learned from other gaming codes and php / mysql tutorials and pieced this learning together to make my own game.

Developer's story

I have played many text based games. It is kind of weird because, I prefer them to many more modern graphical games. My pc is a high end system, and I still spend most of my time on it playing and coding text rpgs for fun. The roleplaying game is my favorite genre, followed by good strategy or sim games.
