Pitwall is an online Formula One management game.

Each season is thirteen weeks long and your goal is to make it to the first division and become the champion. At present there are 4 divisions, with division one containing one league. Each successively lower division has four times as many leagues as the division above. Every league consists of twelve teams (from season 15). At the end of the season, the top team in each league is promoted to a league in a higher division, resulting in four newly promoted teams in each league. The bottom four teams in each league are relegated to a league in a lower division, replacing the promoted teams. No teams are relegated from division four, as it is the lowest division available, and there is no promotion from division one.

To obtain a Pitwall account, you'll have to sign up first. In the sign up window you have to fill out your details. Make sure that everything is filled out correctly. If everything has been processed correctly you will get a screen saying your account is temporary disabled and on the waiting list. If there is no waiting list then your account will become activated within an hour, otherwise you'll have to wait until there are free spots. Currently there are spots open so you should be able to play within an hour.

At the status page you can see how many teams there are currently signed up and how big the waiting list is. As soon as your account becomes activated, you will be informed via an e-mail.

Development

Frank wanted to build a F1 game that forced you to manage your team within a budget. Most game you through cash at the car and watch your pace grow. But with this game you have to balance staff, Drivers, Development while all the time setting your team up for the next race. It seems slow at first but once you understand the game you will be logging in all the time to manage your team.

Developer's story

Well, I can\'t talk for Frank but I can tell you that it started because of all the other manager F1 games where similar and got old fast. With little time spent with managing areas of a team so this game forces you to look at F1 as a manager making hard decision and will keep you hooked by the ever growing competition of the game. One year on top but the next you might be the bottom feeder if your not careful with your decisions !!
