Game Universe
In Gangsta Faction, everyone wants to be the boss! Every player starts at the same place, and builds up until they reach a level of respect from other players! Power, weapons, money, and crimes rule in this game!
Game Goals
Our goal for this game is to have it expand and grow into one of the most popular RPG text games on the web! It might be high expectations, but they all started with 1player!
Development
My son plays alot of RPG text games. He introduced me to the text games about a year ago. He started to play around with the game coding and changing the text colors and fonts. He enjoyed playing with the game as much as he did playing the game! I encouraged him to try to make his own game. A few months later, we purchased a basic script and he began to mold and shape his ideas into a workable game. He has spent many days and nights working on it and we finally got it up and running about 17 days ago. He now has over 120 players! Several have said that they enjoy his game more than others that they have played! He has received compliments from players about how quickly he has responded to their requests for game features. He is constantly making it better and adding new parts for the enjoyment of his players!
Developer's story
Call it a talent! Computers have been in our house since 1984! So, my mom made sure that I was able to use one when I was very young. I didn't do much until a couple of years ago when I got my laptop. Then I started playing the games online. I don't know exactly what got my interest in making a game other than I was a really good player and my mom's encouragement! I started by asking to control the "newspaper" on one of the games that I played a lot. They did not take me seriously, so I decided to learn HTML so that I could make up my own game. the more I learned on my own, the more convinced I was to do this!
