Nyxre is a fantasy TEXT BASED RPG, set in medieval times. You have a character which you register with and you can train various skills and try to become the best player.
The main system of play involves a timer and energy. You start off with 100% energy and then you can choose to use some of it to train skills (Eg: Woodcutting). The timer then counts down, while it is counting you cannot do anything else, as you are working, and when it has finished you can move/train skills, etc... again. So for example cutting wood may take 60 seconds per log, so if you choose to use 10% of your energy then it would take 600 seconds for those 10 logs. You cannot cancel work once it has started, so make sure you know how long it is going to take before you start.
The goal is the same for any multiplayer online game really -> have fun, make friends, try to become the best.
The game is still doing staggered sign ups until we can afford to move to a better server, but currently we have over 600 players, 400+ items, 30+ locations and 17 skills to train. So there is always something to do.

Game Universe
It is a fantasy medieval world,with several continents and islands to visit. You can train combat and try to become the most powerful player, or train creature handling and raise dragons and other creatures. There are many skills to choose from and always something new to do.
Game Goals
My personal goals for the game are to get on a dedicated server so that I can open registrations completely and then maybe reach 1000 members. After that, who knows, we\'ll just wait and see what happens.
Development
I taught myself HTML and CSS about 1 and a half years ago and then went onto PHP and MySQL as well. The first game I made was called Stroceta, but it became too popular too quickly and I had to give it away to someone with enough money to run it, however he subsequently sold it and it is now called Zantoria.
After that failure I decided to try again bu using AJAX as well so that the game was smoother and nicer to look at and use. After working on it for many months i finally released Nyxre and it quickly gained popularity.
It is now in Open Beta and the sign ups are staggered [I open it to new spaces every few days usually] as this server isn\'t really good enough but i am saving up donation money to afford a better one.

Being the Admin can be hard work sometimes, but it's still fun adding new things in and making the players happy.
