DIYB (Do-it-Yourself Baseball) is a free baseball MMORPG that really takes statistic's to the extreme. Whether you are the casual fan who looks at the very basic stats or to the pro who looks at the defensive Ranged out your defense. there is a stat covering it.
When you first signup for DIYB, You will be given 200 credits (the game's currency), to make a player. all positions cost the same amount, which is 200 credits, so feel free to make the dream player you always wanted!
The Goal of the game is truly up to you. Do you want to make to be the Stud hitter that hits the game winning home-run? do you want to be the unhittable pitcher that ends the game? How about the slick Defensive outfielder who makes that over-the-wall catch to take a way a run? you also have the oppurtunity to be the owner/coach of a team and have the goal to take them to your county's championship!
Of course we need a place to talk about what's going on with the game, You will notice our dicussion forums is a very active group who will answer any questions you have, and most importantly, the most active posters in the game is the game admins and moderators. This isn't your typical game where the coders hide behind the scenes, you can talk to them personally!

DIYB is a Baseball Simulator that simulates 2 games a day. One game is called the Early Game, One is called the Late Game. Each game is simulated like 1 day for your players (so they don't get hurt). There is a 100 days in a season (this includes the playoffs and off-season). midway through the season there is an all-star game where the players are picked based off their stats.

The main objective for DIYB is for it to become the top baseball MMO out there. We want to achieve \'realistic\' stats and have a fun community in our forums. With our active Admins and helpful mods, I am positive this goal will be achieved.
Development
DIYB started in the alpha stages almost a year ago from today. The game coders spent numerous hours putting their free time into the frame of the game while the game testers they brought in made sure there wasn\'t any major defects with the game. The admins quickly respond to any issues that do arise however and will resolve them normally in less then 24 hours.

The developer thought of this game when he was playing a basketball simulator that he thought he could improve better, but He loves baseball first and foremost, hence DIYB is born!
