On Verpets users explore and battle 'wild' pets to capture them. Once you've trained up your own pet it can battle other user pets or ai opponents in the Verpets Coliseum - one of the most advanced of any pet site. Pets aren't just for battling though - they also form a vital part of a user's account; helping them tend their gardens, run their shops and much more.
The Verpets community is active and we have a shoutbox which follows members around the site as a sidebar module. On any one day there are thousands of posts in it and we encourage all members to get involved in the conversation and earn prizes just for chatting!
When you're not training your pet or interacting with other members, Verpets offers a range of games - a growing number of which are interactive flash games. Recently we've started introducing card games and in the future we hope to unleash more multiple gaming in the games room.

Game Goals

There is no single goal on Verpets that a user must try to achieve and as time goes on more goals have been unearthed in virtue of the ever-expanding feature set. Some users like to collect pets in special colors such as 'viral', 'death' or 'divine'. Other users want to fill up their collections and earn 'gold badges' for their profile. Users who love our coliseum work to battle their pet up to the rank of 'Warlord' from the starting rank of 'pansy' - a feat which no one has yet managed. Could you be the first? Many users see Verpets as a place to make friends and role play. Our Vercomm system allows you to message multiple users at once and the shoutbox is a truly great piece of user interaction.
