Unus Vir is a PVP game, players must increase their stats by hunting or fishing, while killing enemies to improve their standing.
Killing enemies successfully will allow you to enter a DeathMatch, an all-against-all fight. If you win enough DeathMatches, you will get to visit the Artifact, and immensely powerful object that can help you to win!
At the end of a round (3-6months) all players who did not win are deleted (ready to signup again), however all winners will keep their startdate (not stats), the better you are, the lower your game ID will be, and the older you look in game.

Game Universe
Opus & Unus are set in the 'Great Ring', a group of Islands. Celonia (Opus) is overrun with monsters and religions are very important. Unus has NO monsters, just players who want to kill each other and a mysterious Artifact that gives rewards to those who deserve it.
Game Goals
Unus Vir had 100 players signed up, mainly from Opus Deorum. I would like Unus to become as active as Opus, but keeping the friendly atmosphere that Opus enjoys.
Development
Unus Vir is a spin-off of another game I developed called Opus Deorum. In opus, players are encouraged to work together, in teams or with townmates. I wanted a game that was entirely opposite for players who prefer that.
Unus Vir means (more or less) "One Man". You cannot sell to other players, there is not even any gold in game, what you want, you must get yourself, make your own weapons, armours, everything.
Developer's story
Hex was admin of MarcoLand, a (now mostly inactive) RPG game and felt that he could do better than the sites (mostly inactive) owner.
So he set out to learn PHP and built Opus Deorum. That was 18months ago, and now Unus Vir is the latest addition to the game list.
