Opened in July 2000, Shootclub.com is an online, roleplaying wrestling game. New players are welcome to try our free academy leagues and compete against our talented community of writers and gamers.

Shootclub is owned and operated by the "Big 3" of John Rodeo (a former professional wrestling manager), Crock (graphic artist and pro wrestling guru), and Webmaster (software programmer known by all as "Webby"). Shootclub opened it's doors in July of 2000 with the start of it's first league Empire State Wrestling (ESW). ESW is still running today and remains one of our most competive regional promotions.

The Shootclub Wrestling Alliance (SWA), which is the governing body of all the Shootclub leagues, was officially formed at ColossalCade 2000 with merger of the first four leagues.

Since our first full year in 2001, we have gotten into a fairly regular pattern of monthly events and Pay-Per-Views that are hosted by the SWA and booked and written by the players of the game. Title matches and competitive events are run by Shootclub simulator but the results are written by the players themselves.
