Currently there is two main ways to play this game and those are: Creatures and RPG. First, let me explain some stuff about the creature side of the site and then I will explain a bit about the RPG side.

There is many species of critters in this game you can own, breed, buy, train, show and sell. It is also possible to crossbreed several of them and the results are different for each crossing. For example: You can cross a Rahm with a Tair. The percentage for Rahm offspring is higher than for Tair offspring. Sometimes you can get both in a litter. Also, each breed has its own unique image. No boring same image or blank area! Also, we do have our own genetic system. Which offers a challenge to those who might want to strive for a rare color or breed a bloodline of a certain color.

Then we have our RPG section of the site. In this section players can roam for battles and for quests. Which allow them to gain fame, fortune, and just to have some fun. You can also equip items to your characters for stat boosts! This comes in handy when roaming.

The site also offers many other unique features that makes the site quite diverse and different from other sites. Here is a sample of what is offered:

Game Universe

A Breeder's Quest is set into is own little world. That world is called Le-ayph and within Le-ayph is different countries. Such as Ithra, Baltar, etc. Those countries each have their own stores, stories, and places to visit. The planet of Le-ayph also has its own holidays and cast of kooky characters! So you never know what to expect next.

Game Goals

My goal is to offer a game that everyone enjoys playing. I know it is a big goal, but that is what I want to accomplish. So, if you like RPGs, breeding sims, or even custom creature creation sims.. this game will be for you.

Development

I spent years playing online games of different types, but they were pretty much from the same mold. Until one day I had an idea and this idea is what brought on the development of A Breeder's Quest.

I didn't know how to program at the time. So, I hired a coder to code the site and in a few months time ABQ was born!

ABQ has been going strong now for 8+ months and has nearly 2000 users and we are always looking for more new players. I love my game and I spend a lot of time on it. So if any new user who decides to join my game and needs help... I will be right there to help them.

Developer's story

I played a lot of games in the past and each one had its own addictive nature. However, I always yearned to create my own game. In late 2006 and early 2007 I took the first step and started writing down what I wanted my game to be. From there the game idea went rolling and I bought my web space. From there ABQ came to be and is going strong today.

The game itself takes up a good chunk of my time, but I don't mind. Plus, I love meeting new people and entertaining my user base. =]
