Game Universe

The game is set up in a fictional town where you can set up your herd in your home (by creating a breeding plan, pairing up your animals, caring for them and breeding them), shop in the stores, visit the vet as needed, take your chinchillas to shows, and interact with other players. Set up your own chinchilla store or sell your pets in the classifieds.

Development

This game was built in PHP as a way of allowing anyone to enjoy the experience of being a chinchilla breeder in a somewhat realistic virtual setting.

Developer's story

This game came about as a suggestion by one of the members of the Chinchilla Club. I try to add everything my members request so I brushed up on my PHP and created the game. For the most part it is pretty realistic. You must choose real life breeding plans and place chinchillas into cages together to breed. Chinchillas will randomly get sick and need vet treatment. Chinchillas require certain items for specific actions. For example you can't send a chin to another person unless it is in a shipping crate. You can't place a chinchilla into a ranch run without a breeding collar.
