Kapilands was developed by upjers founder Klaus Schmitt, based on his first browser based economy simulation Kapitalism. To date, Kapilands is one of the most successful browser based economy simulations.

Developer's story

The foundation of the company upjers as it is today was laid in 2003. The amateur project, that had started with the game Kapitalism, the first

ever browser based economy simulation, has now grown into a successful browser game company. 10 browser games are currently online,

with a number of new ones already in production.
