Game Universe

The game is set in an every day world where the main objective is to own and train the best horses, and own the best stables. It's a fairly simple, light-hearted environment.

Game Goals

I'd like Equiverse to become one of the major competitive horse sim games on the internet, and would like to eventually expand into the realm of MMORPGs with the game. In the long term :)

Development

I had always been interested in playing virtual pet games, mostly due to my interest in horses but being unable to afford a real one.

I commissioned a sim game to be created from a programmer, but it wasn't very successful. I began learning PHP and MySQL, and turned the unsuccessful game into what Equiverse has become today.

Developer's story

From the age of about 10 I played various virtual pet games, the ones that had been around for a long time, and those which arrived and disappeared. I learned the majority of my HTML and CSS from these games by their user "layouts" and from then I owned a lot of different websites. I had always wanted to own a sim game, and I finally got my wish with Equiverse!
