1. Rude customer service personell - by Akkarin Rating: 5.2/10
Whilst the community on Equine Ranch is great, you really do not want to draw attention to yourself to the customer service personell. The game itself is captivating and motivating, but do not let yourself become too attatched as far too many people fall victim to the game owners anger management issues. I strongly advise you to keep yourself to yourself and not to post on the forums at all. Whilst the game owner has Aspergers, I feel that this is no excuse for her rudeness towards the people who pay for her to keep the clothes on her back. Knowing her problems, she should have hired someone else to interact with her clients as she is clearly not cut out to do it herself. I feel that the forums of any game is where the game is made or lost. I personally spend more time in the forums of any game than on the actual game play itself. Therefore, to actually feel apprehensive to post on the forums is not fun for me. I have sat and watched in amazement her poor handling of alot of people in the commons. And when people point out to her that she is undiplomatic at best and downright rude at worst, BAM they get a ban from the game. I have seen people get banned completely for asking for a bit of advise that the game owner disapproved of. This is not going to encourage people to continue to play the game. I have seen this occur time and time again. Every other internet game i have played before have at least given their time to explain what the person has done wrong so that they know not to do it again, but not so here. I am by no means suggesting that you not try the game, But I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere if like me you think the forums of a game is at the heart of the enjoyment.

2. Random punishment for faulty rules. - by Games_R_US Rating: 1.8/10
While the life-like genetics can be exciting, they're not enough to continue playing the game. There is endless clicking involved to advance each horse. The site itself isn't user friendly and is, at times, hard to navigate. Searches are poorly put together making the game time-consuming. The game is free, but you can't do much as a free player. You can go into debt easily. It seems to be a very small, tightly knit community of members who enjoy kissing the owner's rear. The rules are poorly interpreted by the power-hungry owner. Instead of being helpful to players, she will likely just poke at them and call them names. The game is self-glorified and claims to be a top webgame but the population is small and ever-shrinking (because the owner bans players willy-nilly). I encourage people to join the game, if just to visit the forum and view E-R Customer Service's posts. Try to find one nice post that makes up for her gloating about calling her members "stupid" and "pricks". It's difficult to watch her weaknesses transform into hatred of the people who pay her for the game. All in all, this is the least fun of any game I have tried in my 15 years of gaming experience.

3. Poor Customer Service - by somboo Rating: 2/10
The UI is of poor quality and the user experience is interrupted by high number of clicks required to accomplish anything. Developers should learn a little something about human-computer interfacing. Additionally, the customer service borders on bullying and the rules are obviously not well thought out.
