RockTycoon reaches the open beta stage!


RockTycoon, the music manager MMORPG, has finally reached the open beta stage and is now accepting registrations for the open public without the need of an invitation key (whereas the previous major release of the game required an invitation be sent from an already active member).

RockTycoon is the newest product from MediaQore, LLC which brings it's company a debut into the online gaming industry. Your goal in the game is to take control of your very own band and manage their careers to the top of the Top Rock Charts through writing and recording your own music, playing shows and signing to player owned record labels (a feature that is currently still being worked out, but should be released soon).

With a debut earlier this week, RockTycoon looks to take over the music MMORPG style of gaming introducing a plethora of features into an online browser-based text adventure and is one of the first music games to incorporate a quest-like system (which they call Arcs).

RockTycoon's plans for development currently include releasing the player owned record labels, introducing the touring option for bands to tour regions with other players as well as a unique band battle system where your skill is put up against other band's skills in a “Fight” fashion where you battle it out with your instruments.

It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll!
