RetroMUD is a roleplay-encouraged MUD, meaning special, roleplay-related bonuses are awarded to those who choose to roleplay, yet no penalty is extracted for those who choose not to indulge. So what's the big news? Well, the list of special features available to the roleplayer just got longer! That's right, the RP tailor shop is now in game!

If RetroMUD's already-stunningly vast array of available equipment, clothing, and gear wasn't enough for you, when you were looking to get your character dressed up in that special way for that special occasion, then there's a new option now available to keep you looking sharp, no matter what your agenda! Master tailor, Daumen Lutscher, a homarid of great esteem has set up his new shop in the marketplace bazaar of Sauronan on Wysoom, where he can produce customized clothing of any size, shape, style, color, or design that your character deems necessary, but he'll only do it for the suitably renowned! Does your unicorn character need a nicer saddle? Does your boelir (one-eyed cyclopsian) need a custom eye-patch, just to be redundant? Perhaps your viking dragon needs a pointy hat, because he just doesn't have enough horns, or maybe your sexy vulpin (foxfolk) needs a little something for a quiet evening with someone special. Whatever you're looking for, it's here, and if it wasn't, you can make it now!
