Rise of Terror Full Recode / Redesign Complete
The recode and redesign for Riseofterror.com is complete. The users have been praising the new design in the forums, and everyone appears to be having a blast playing.
We took the old code and threw it out, and redesigned from the ground up, and throughout it all we managed to do everything WITHOUT a reset.
We feel the players are the most important part of the game, so working around them instead of forcing them to start from scratch was the best approach in our opinion.
And while we did not change the current data for users already playing the game, we did change how certain things function. One major fix was for the Attacking system. It really needed some love, and we were happy to give it. We totally revamped how attacking functions again without ruining players current progress.
We will be adding many more additions to the game in the coming months. Now that the recode is out of the way, we can focus on improving gameplay, and giving people a lot more to do, in a way that doesn't overwhelm new players that are unfamiliar with browser-based gaming.
If you stop by, there's always someone happy to help. As long as you can avoid those that aren't you'll be off to a great start. We also implemented 3 days of beginner protection, so you will not be attacked within your protection period.
