About Warriox Adventure

Warriox Adventure (PBBG/MMORPG) is a persistent browser based game, a massively multiplayer online role playing game, and a text based 2D game, which is free to sign up( register ) and free to play.

Warriox Adventure had just been created as nothing more than a shell pretty much, when I bought it in April of 2009. I have done tons of work to fix many bugs, and to clean up the code, and I still have tons more to do. Originally I thought I could have that done and start new additions to the game, within just a couple of months.

After diving into the codes and working on them from 6 am to midnight most days, I realized that I had a lot more work ahead of me, than I had even expected. The codes were a horrible mess! Oh well... I have learned so much, and I am having a blast! I figure when I start adding my new additions to the game, I'm going to be so good at it, that I'll be able to fly through the new additions with a speed which will make up for all of the delays. lol

Anyways, as I stated, most of my time is currently spent working on the bugs and cleaning up the codes. However, I am planning in the near future, to rewrite many aspects of the game.

Rewrites will include but are not limited to:
Race benefits (including adding new races).
Character stats (including adding new stats).
PvP Battles (making them interactive, and giving players more choices in pvp battle).
Mercenaries (making them Companion animals).
Mercenaries (making them more interactive, from care and training, to battling).
Clan owner options (giving them much more control over choices concerning their clans).
Clan wars (making them much more realistic in end results, and adding some real time strategy).

After I have finished all of that, I have many ideas just dieing to be added to the game, which will create many new areas, and endless things for the players to do. By the way, I have already managed to squeeze some time in between bugs, to do a couple of rewrites already. The Giant Dragonfly is one of those, and I have created Underground Depth Maps also.

Our player base is currently pretty small, as the game is fairly new and I have deleted inactive players up till a couple of weeks ago. However, I have decided in the interest of the players and the future of the game, to discontinue deleting inactive players. Instead, the characters will remain in the game, giving other players more pvp battling capability, as well as giving the inactive player a chance to come back and resume playing.

I have done many things to update the game and to make the ground between non-donators and donators more equal. Of course donators will always have a little advantage, as they make it possible for me to spend all of these long countless hours on coding and managing the game. Without them, I either wouldn't be able to pay my bills, or I would have to let the game fail while I seek paid employment elsewhere. All of that taken into consideration, I do feel that the non-donators should have a fair chance to play well in Warriox Adventure also. After all, non-donators help bring more opportunity to the pvp system and the economy of the game over all.

I have started adding the game address to voting sites, forums, and other places, in an attempt to pick up traffic and build the player base. I am aiming to have most, if not all, bugs squashed, code cleaned up, rewrites done, new areas in the process of being added, and to have around a thousand(or more) regularly active players by the end of 2010.

This is not a game that will die in a year or two. Warriox Adventure is going to be around for the long haul, and any players who sign up now, can feel secure in knowing that they have the opportunity to grow with the game, as there will never be a full game reset. All updates are made to the game, with the easiest transition possible, so that the players may feel limited negative effects. In fact, the positive effects will far outweigh the negative, as more things are completed, and the world of Warriox Adventure continues to grow.

I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I'm having fun, and I'm very excited to be getting closer to these end goals every day.

Now that you know a little about Warriox Adventure and the owner, why don't you meet us inside and give the game a try,
