Innovative Alliance Features


On the Orion's Belt browser game, alliances fight for the possession of Relics. Alliance members had to plan things on foruns or on the game boards, but it's always complicated to manage a war and all the members.

That's why we implemented some alliance collaboration features. Now the game has the following concepts:

Player Assets: each player registers at the alliance the assets he's able to give for the alliance use. He can register fleets or ultimage powers
Necessities: Players and Admirals may register a necessity. This may be a planet under attack that needs help, or an attack on some target, or zone control
Tasks: Admirals can associate necessities and assets. Each task has a priority and a status
With this system, an admiral can go to the game and easily see the status of the war. He can see all the tasks, the completeness status, if they failed or not, and create new necessities based on the current state of affairs.

It's now very easy to micro and macro manage the alliance on our tactical mmo. He can go to a task and comment on it and interact with the players associated with the task. He can also see who are the members that are giving resources to the alliance and promote them.

This new features make the Orion's Belt space browser game even more interesting!
