Game: Capture The Flag

Capture The Flag has Expanded!

Shortly after Capture The Flag's release, development began on an unannounced feature that promised to improve the game's emphasis on teamwork. Now, nearly two weeks later, the veil has been lifted: a dynamic map rotation system.

Before this important update, teams would score only to perpetuate a growing number on the login screen. Now, the map dynamically changes based on the current score, allowing teams to push their enemies to the very outskirts of Ohono County. For this to become reality, the game world had to be expanded from 625 to 1875 square acres, opening up an even wider range of possibilities to players.

When a team is forced into their team citadel, their attackers are at a major disadvantage. The offensive side is stripped of resourceful buildings and capture points, with many of the capturable strategic points located within grasp of the defending team.

If the defending team is able to even the score, they push their attackers back to Ohono City. If they fail despite the odds, they lose the match and the score is reset to a clean slate.

In the shadow of this update, Capture The Flag also received a much-needed facelift. The interface is smoother, more fluid, and further reflects one's surroundings.
