...into personal attacks. What the heck? I offer criticism and get flamed. I know there is a semi-equal amount of flaming going between petsites, but I think it's outta line to attack someone in the review section. If you wanna say something to me, send me a message and we can “talk,” but don't make a review about it where I can't even respond. Look at this crap:
“Thier 4 color based system rocks and thier header text-name SORPILAND is totally cool and ORIGINAL. slashersivi needs glasses and I agree that slashersivi could use a big hug to rip away that uglyness within slashersivi, LOL! HUGS slashersivi!!!!!!! I understand that they are not showing enought artwork to make slashersivi happy because they want to keep slashersivi curious and not miserable, LOL!!!”
...The owner replied a little more civilly to my comment, but doesn't seem willing to take critique because he supposedly has sooo much more experience than me and “(has) even made stuff for animated films.” Now I frankly don't believe that, you can take a look at the art yourself and be the judge, but personally I think this person is full of it. The art is flat and childish. These same two people also had the gall to say Teripets needed better artists. I don't work for Teri, but obviously this is just a petty shot because the art at Teri is much more professional and just plain awesome. I wouldn't be surprised if these two were actually the same person. >.>
And I know this isn't the only instance of this, I'm sure it has happened to other people as well. I think people need to control themselves and act a heckuvalot more mature, especially if they are staff on these websites. This behavior is disappointing.
hey, im the admin of sorpiland, and i know exactly what you mean. im a reasonable person, and i do agree with your comment. The person who posted is one of the artists at my site, and i have talked to him about it.
Im apoligising on his behalf as personal 'flaming' on a review is a bit too far.
I can honestly say though, he isnt a 'flame' person, but more of a jokey person. He ment it as a joke, trying to implement a bit of humor.

Um, I tracked it down and I see what you are so mad about. I think you flamed him first, of course he's going to say something back. I would if I was attacked, you should apologize. I don't think the owner should need to apologize, LOL! they both sound like nice people. ^^ Critisizm is good, but I would have handled it better. Oh well CeL'Vive

Considering slashersivi's review is 100% true, slasher did nothing wrong. Obviously Mutant_7 is talking down to slasher almost like mutant is talking to a toddler. Keep reviewing sites slasher, you are great at it.

no problem. And i take critisism very easily. I welcome all critisism, whether good or bad. If someone comes on Sorpiland and says things like 'this site is crap etc', i just tell them to clear off then and go join a different pet site. Its completely upto the users if they like my site or not. Its aimed for fun for everyone, but i can admit there will be some people who dont like it.

Could i just say that Mutant_7 ISNT my artist . It is 'Pyrogenesis' (his comment has been removed by the way) ^_^
So please dont blame Sorpiland Staff for Mutant_7's comments, although Pyrogenesis did jokily say something 'flaming'
