EK Source v3.0
I am currently working on another version of EK Source.
EK Source is my help/fan site for Eternal Kingdoms. Eternal Kindoms (EK) is a very fun online strategy game. Click the “Eternal Kingdoms” link above to check out their Apex Game Profile.
Version 3.0 of EK Source (EKS) will be by far the best. So far I'm powered EKS on phpNuke, which worked very well but the database it was run on crashed and then my hosting went down. It's also been powered by Ottoman. Ottoman is a project a buddy of mine is working on. It's a Content Management System that works very well. It didn't work that well for EKS though because I need something different. So, I've decided to just code everything myself.
I'm pretty good at PHP and I'm very confident I can make EKS v3.0 great. Hopefully it will be the past version I have to make :-P The new EKS will have 5-10 Editors from EK to write articles about EK. There will be help articles and other sorts of articles the players will be able to use to help them advance in the game. Also, users will be able to comment on all of these articles from their article pages. I'm also setting up a referral program so players can get credit for sending other players to EKS for help and advice.
There are also a few other little things that will be added to the site. The editors will have a simple control panel to add their articles and you'll be able to browse the articles according to serveral different categories. That will all be worked out soon.
Keep your eyes on EKS for more information and updates:

Redneck-Wars.com ... playing once again...
I quit playing Redneck Wars awhile ago because I just lost interest. I stopped by the site last night and it looked basically the same as before. They've added a few new additions to the site, but the layout is the same old layout and the game play is basically the same.
I have to admit though, the game is pretty addicting. I got on earlier today and didn't even plan on stopping by that game again, but somehow my fingers just magically typed it in themselves and I found myself back on Redneck-Wars again.
I've decided I want to revamp their layout and submit it to the webmaster (whom I talk to once in awhile on AIM). I might work on the site a little more if he'll make me admin.
If you want to check out Redneck-Wars (he hasn't added it to the new Apex yet) check it out at:

New Apex
I have to say...I am very impressed with the new apex. It looks great (I picked the layout :P) and I'm very happy with the work James has done with it.
