Kenopets
Welcome!
I, with help of my fiancé and friends, run a virtual pet site called Kenopets (http://kenopets.co.uk/). Neopets was not the first pet site on the internet. It instead has used the content of several other pet sites that existed years ago. Neopets cannot sue any virtual pet site for copyright infringement because it does not own the idea of virtual pet sites and never can. Therefore, anyone with the ability can create a virtual pet site.
In which case, Kenopets was created to give people of all ages to have a pet they may desire. It may be the case that your parents will not let you have a real pet, you cannot afford a real pet, you do not want to clean up after one or it doesn't exist!
We at Kenopets aim to provide an educational environment while still giving you the chance to have fun. Kenopets is a continuously growing site, and while we are not all that big or popular we try to give our best to our users. Most of the virtual pets users are able to adopt are based on either living creatures or mythical creatures. Each pet can be morphed elementally to become something completely different!

We're still fairly new and we've yet to secure enough competent artists to bring out the full potential of Kenopets. We only have one PHP coder who is my fiancé, so major page updates are rare, as we don't trust anyone else enough to create/change pages we already have uploaded. There are constant updates, just too minor to be recorded on the News page, as most users would not understand the PHP edits made to each page. There are no major updates as we're only a small site, and many of us have lives to do while not browsing the internet.
Constructive comments that actually make sense and explain why you like/don't like Kenopets would be preferable, so we may improve.
The staff do their job diligently and we hold them in high esteem. A new layout is being designed for Kenopets so all of the pages are going under a HUGE re-design to make them look nicer, navigate better and be more efficient. Images are constantly being re-vamped to make them look more realistic or in some cases, a little bit different.

Sadly, we have yet to find a competent flash game programmer willing to work for free.
